Everything Has a Home!
Everything Has A Home!
Everything in the world has its home, the home of a bird is a nest, the home of a fish is the sea, the home of grass is the land and the home of clouds is the blue sky …
Now picture your home in your mind, the place you sleep, eat and learn every day. This place makes you feel safe and loved. For me it's also these things, but I would like to add just a bit more.
I once asked myself what does a perfect home actually mean to me. At first this kind of a picture formed in my head: a big castle filled with honey dipped food, chains made out of diamonds dangling on the ceiling.
Then I looked around this beautiful place, but something just doesn't feel right, like there's a piece puzzle that is not in the right place. There’s no mom cooking food in the kitchen, no dad playing badminton with me, no friends living next to me, I can't see anything I love, even my turtle Tomato, which I personally do not like too much.
Then another picture formed in my mind. A small little wooden house standing in the snow, the snow on the rooftop making the house look like a piece of cake covered with whipped cream, mom standing in front of a stove chopping and throwing ingredients into the stove, I playing with my turtle with my finger. Although not physically warm inside the room, this place warmed my heart.
Now I would like to tell you what I discovered; Home is not a place, it’s a feeling. It is the feeling of mixed happiness, comfort and warmth; This is the place where I can be myself.
Home is the place where you can be happy, and feel safe from everything.
Well, maybe not everything, I mean, not from all the homework mom gives me, but safe from danger, safe from the outside world where I have to rely on myself.
Home is the place you put your heart, where you will find people that will give you all their love and try to help you at all cost. Home is love and love is home, home will not be the same without love.
