The Place I call Home

A house is ok but a home is really great. Home is warm like a bonfire with the family you love or the warmth of a cozy blanket. Home is fun like playing outside or playing a board game with your friends or siblings. Home is that one place in your heart that you truly love and what keeps you happy. Home is a place or a person that you can go to when you feel sad or lonely or if you just need a hug from a person you love or your parents asking about your day when you get home from school. A house is a building that people make for you to live and have shelter. A house is a place you stay in the rain. A house can sometimes be somewhere you hate or somewhere you don't want to be. A house can be a place you love or a place you hate but a home is a place that will always make you feel happy and great. Home for me is a welcoming from my parents when I walk through the door. Home for me is the peaceful sound of the birds chirping in the morning or the sound of rain. Home for me is my moms delicious cooking. Home for me is playing outside with my friends or siblings. Home for me is the warm sun in the summer or the cold snow in the winter and the cool morning breeze in the fall. Home for me is waking up and seeing my dog right beside me. Home for me is decorating my christmas tree with my family on christmas eve and putting out cookies and milk for santa on a chilly evening. Everyone deserves a happy loving home.
