Meaning of Home

For all people home is different. Some people may find their school home or their friend’s or relative’s house their home. Home, to me, is the place I was a baby in. For 11 years, it has been my home. The meaning of home for me is my family, and my favorite people. Some nights, stormy days or beautiful days, we play board games or have movie nights. We do different kinds of competitions and baking. I remember this one time, my sister and I were baking cupcakes and I was pretty young around the age of 8. We were using a hand beater and I did not know I was not supposed to take it out of the bowl. I lifted it up and BAM! My whole kitchen was a mess. These are memories I will never forget and laugh my head off thinking of. Memories like my sister and I skating on the rink my dad makes for us. Like swimming in my pool we have in the summer and my birthday pool parties. All this is so fun. Home to me, is the comfort of my house. It is so amazing: the soft big couches and the cozy fireplace. The comfort of my amazing home is a big part of my life. Overall, if I did not have my family, it would not be home. Wherever my family is, I feel it is home. If it was across the sea, with my family it would be home. Home is my family, this is my home.
