What is a Home?
A home can be many things to many different people, but to me it's something completely different.
A home belongs to you and has a specific feel to it that makes it your own.
A kitchen to me is where I do most of my bonding with my mom. My mother and I love to bake and cook together in the kitchen, which is why it's so important to me that I have a kitchen in my house. I can't just have a random kitchen though. In my kitchen I need the wooden cabinets painted a warm reddish brown and the shiny black and gray tiles against the wall.
A living room is also very important to not just me but my family because though my family and I don't have much time in the living room all together, it's good to know we have the space to be there with my parents and brother is good. My living room is very important because it provides a place to spend time with my family, more or less my dad. I do most of my bonding time with my dad in the living room where we watch movies together.
Lastly, a fridge. A fridge is very important to me because it holds all the ingredients to make a comfortable homie meal. Food is important to me because it's a part of me. The foods my father and I make together are special because it shows our culture and how we share similar taste in food. My father and I like to try new things when it comes to food.
Many things make a home my home, but these are just objects. The only thing that I really need is my family to make a home, MY home.
