The Feeling of Home

Home. My home is in New Brunswick but my house is in Nova scotia. I thought my home was my house but it turns out a home is more than your house or where you live. Home to me is where you can hear the waves crashing into the land. I see the sun shining, four wheelers revving, sea-doos attached to the dock and boats out on the water. I hear the birds chirping, the wind blowing, and engines starting. When I am home I feel loved by my family and friends, surrounded by safe people and I love making really great memories like when I got up on a wakeboard for the first time. I love my home but other people don't have the stuff that I do. Which is why Habitat for Humanity is so important. They are making people houses and that really helps the people who are struggling to find a home. Habitat for Humanity is helping my community. My community has so many people who are struggling to find a house but Habitat for Humanity has been building so many houses that become peoples homes and they get the feeling of home. That's why Habitat for Humanity is important to me.
