Meaning of Home

My house for me has many meanings. My house is my home where I stay most of my time. My house is my refuge where I feel safe, protected from natural phenomena and animals. It's where I feel loved, understood, and happy. Home is where my family is. No matter where I go and how happy I may be at the end of the day I always want to go back to my beautiful house. I think of my house as if it were a treasure. Treasures must be cared for, protected, cleansed and loved. I take care of my house as my most valuable treasure. When I get home my mom is there. My mother is the person I love the most in this world. She takes care of me with so much love that I would like to be by her side at all times. That's why my house is where I am the happiest. My house is decorated by me. Every detail of it has been touched with my hands. My bedroom is the place I like the most in the house because it is where I spend the longest time. All the things I need daily are there. My clothes, shoes, computer and many other things. My home smells like a vanilla candle. The most important item in my room is my bed. That’s where I sleep every night. It’s very comfortable and cozy. If I had to pick a place to stay forever I would pick home because it’s where everything amazing happens. I sleep very good everyday because I feel safe and protected in my house. The kitchen is another favourite part of my house because it’s where my food gets prepared. I love eating yummy foods specially when I'm able to cook them with my mother. The kitchen is a very important area because without food we can’t survive. Home is the place a can always count on.
