The Secret Loving Piece of Home

Home is more than just the house you live in, a home can be your neighbourhood. Home to me is my town because my friends and teachers are always making me feel comfortable at school. Home to me is smelling freshly baked sweets when I come downstairs for a snack. Home for me seeing my family laughing together while they play Music in the living room. Home to me feeling my cat's soft and silky fur while he sleeps on me once I sit on the couch. Home is tasting the awesome and delicious desserts my sister bakes from the oven. Home for me is listening to some metal music while doing chores every Sunday. Home to me spending time with family even if times aren’t the best, but we manage to be happy. Home is going to sports like softball and gymnastics, even if we have to rush out of the house at 4:30 in the afternoon. Home is doing homework as soon as you get home. In winter helping my neighbours with shoveling their driveways is what I call home. Home is having emotions that you can share with everyone and nobody will laugh at you, but helping you get through hard times. Reading in the car while going to my grandparents even if they don’t live close. Fights in the car with my sister aren’t the best ,but that’s what I call home. If home were to be somewhere else I wouldn’t want it to live anywhere else other than where I live right now. Canada is my home and I will never leave it forever because I will always return after vacation because my vacation isn’t my home. My home is my home.
