The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home Home is more than four walls and a roof. Home is a feeling for all to have and for me it is my corner of the world, halifax. Home is where I can relax, and feel safe. My messy house, the quiet park, and busy noisy downtown. The familiar houses, apartments, tents. There is everyone all together and many, many homes. My home is the coast and the water, beaches with sand and stones. Freezing cold winters and burning hot summers, and through the extremes, my home keeps me safe. It's hiking and views of the rocky coast on a sunny afternoon, or viewing a video on youtube while the morning rain bounces off my roof. Camping and seeing the stars, or having a sleepover and seeing my friends beat me at board games. There's skiing in the winter at Wentworth, gliding on fresh snow and weaving through trees, and swimming at the waegwoltic in the summer shooting through the water off the diving board. That is home to me.
