What home means to me

What Home Means to Me To me home means… Family board games and pizza on a Friday night, Fresh Homemade muffins after school, The sound of the radio every morning when I wake up, The broken drawer downstairs in our kitchen, Home is a feeling, a sound, and a joy. Home is a place where you should feel safe and protected. In my home I’m protected by the four walls around me full of photos and memories, By the big comfy couch in my living room, By the large counter in my kitchen where our family gathers around every night for dinner. To me home is tradition, a treasure chest full of memories. Memories like the piano by the front door where we play songs together on the holidays, Like the sunday dinners my family enjoys in our dining room, Or like the fridge full of drawings and homework magnetic to the door. Home is a feeling I hope everybody will feel someday like the feeling I have everytime I walk through the front door, and the feeling I get when I wake up in the morning, The memories made everyday surrounded by my loving family, Because that is what home means to me.
