The Meaning of Home

I grew up in 4 different houses. (Two of which were apartments) I really don't remember my apartments but I do remember that I went to a daycare almost right next door. My first house was 39 Anahid Crescent which was near my first school, Basinview Elementary. I was in that house for about 2 years then I moved to my current house. I think why all of my homes have been special is because I've had some kind of pet in each home. In the apartments we had a cat named Belle (we also had a cat named baxter in the apartment but he died before i was born), in my house near basinview i also had belle, in my home we had belle (for a little while) a hamster named sloppy joe and a new cat called wicket. There aren't many people living in my house. It usually is just me, my dad, my mom and my pets. Sometimes my dads parents come over and stay for a week or so. Every 2 or 4 weeks I have a sleepover with my friends and cousins. I think home and house mean 2 separate things. I think house means the literal place that you live in and home means what you call home. I think everybody should have a home. Just so that everybody gets the warm, safe feeling. Habitat For Humanity makes homes so that people who don't have a home can get that feeling. It takes $135,000 - $165,000 to make ONE house. I think you should donate to Habitat for Humanity because if you do you can help them by giving them more money to make more houses for people that don't have a house or a home.
