The Meaning of Home

A house is a structure with windows and doors but a home is a place where you can find love, peace and safety. My Home is a place where I can be myself. Home is where I feel really safe and home is where I can see my family. I feel safe in my home. My house is made out of concrete but my home is made out of love and family. My house is where I live but my home is where my heart lives. Home doesn't have to be a big mansion or a small apartment but home has to be a safe and peaceful place. I feel peace in my home. My home is a place where I can cuddle with my family and watch movies while eating buttery popcorn. Home is a place where I can play games with my brother and fight over who will get boardwalk in monopoly. I feel happy. My home is made out of love and memories. My home is where I celebrated my first birthday not knowing anything that’s happening. My Home is where I fast in Ramadan and eat after sunset. My home is where I had pillow fights with my brother then crying because he hit me too hard. I feel blessed. My home is where I can see my mother, brother and father. I love my family because they always love me no matter what. My family are the people who love me the most and care about me. I feel loved. My home is where I eat yummy food that my mom makes. My home smells like cinnamon buns with lots of funs. My home is where I eat different food from different cultures. I feel hungry. My Home is where I can help other people who are homeless. I love to help other people who don’t have food to eat, clothes to wear and a place to live. I feel bad. I am thankful that I have a home where I have a roof over my head, clothes to wear and food to eat. I feel blessed and thankful. My home is where I grew up. My home is Pakistan where I was born and raised. A country where we eat yummy food, wear beautiful clothes and celebrate festivals with our loved ones and play our national sport cricket. A place where everyone lives together and shares the beautiful country. I am proud to be from Pakistan. Home, the country we all share. My new home is Canada where I stand profoundly for O’Canada. Home is where I taste the sticky maple syrup and the yummy poutine. Home is where I play in snow with my brother. Home where everyone feels equal. My home is Canada and I am proud of it.
