Meaning of Home

You see A door I see An entrance to someplace safe You see Old pictures I see Memories You see People I see My family You see A living room I see Where my family gathers You see A desk I see My own private space You see Just a building I see My home A house is simple, just a couple walls a door, But a home is not just that, it's so much more. A house has people inside. A home has a family. A house has old pictures, But a home has memories. A house has a phone. A home has a way to connect with your relatives who live far away. A house may have an animal, But a home has what you call a pet, or even a family member. A house has shelter from the rain or snow, But home is where you feel safe and cozy. A house is just a shelter, a structure, like I said before, A home is where you feel safe with family.
