A Safe Place I Call Home

A Safe Place I Call Home Today I will talk about what home means to me, and why it means so much. I had never thought about this topic before. The more I think about it, I realize how lucky I am to have a roof over my head. Okay, let's dive into the topics now! When I walk into my house, I immediately feel safe, comfy, and relaxed. I feel like there's no rush to do anything, and I don't have to worry about being cold. I can cuddle into my bed with warm, soft blankets covering me from neck to toe. I can close my eyes without having to worry about anything dangerous. I can wear a cozy sweater and relax, watch a movie with popcorn, and drift asleep on my couch. I couldn't imagine not having a home, but sadly there were more than 25 000 people in Canada in 2022 that were homeless, just imagine being outside on cold nights and not being able to relax. I think of the movie “The Pursuit Of Happiness”. It's a really good movie to watch to understand the struggle. It was actually based on a true story, it's about a person named Chris Gardner, who was going through hard times but never gave up. Then eventually he leads up to success, there's way more to it so I would 10/10 recommend this movie. Home is the thought of how lucky I am to have a loving family, a roof over my head, and freshly made dinner in front of me. Home means everything to me, and I will always be grateful to have one. It truly is a safe place for me so that is why I called this writing...A Safe Place I Call Home.
