It’s Not About The Walls And Ceiling
Home is not about the place,
It’s not about the walls and ceiling.
home is with whom you share the space,
and from whom you get a wonderful feeling.
Imagine living life alone,
How lonely you would be,
Imagine living life alone,
And then you’ll know; you’ll see
A house is not a father;
It will not encourage you.
As for your safety, it won’t even bother;
It won’t even treat you as priority two.
A house is not a mother;
Despite its warm embrace
A mom cares for you like no other
And a house cannot replace
A house can’t provide you brothers or sisters
With whom you laugh and play.
And if you get scrapes or blisters
It won’t help you feel ok.
A house is a structure with a skeleton of steel
But despite its protection, does it love you for real?
Without a house, where would you live?
But without your family, what would life give?
Home is not about the place,
It’s not about the walls and ceiling.
home is with whom you share the space,
and from whom you get a wonderful feeling.
Imagine living life alone,
How lonely you would be,
Imagine living life alone,
And then you’ll know; you’ll see
