The Place I Call Home
Home is the fresh smell of cultural food baking in the oven. It is where I know that I am accepted for who I am, and I don’t have to change myself to fit in.
Home is the place I know that is always open to me after a long day at school. Home is where I can share the laughter of my family while frosting delicious Christmas cookies or where I can snuggle up in my warm cozy bed for a nice long rest.
To me home is the most important, most special place to be. My favorite thing to do on snowy days is grab some hot chocolate and a book and read it until I am done the whole book.
I believe everyone should have a warm place to stay and sincerely call it their home. I am very grateful for my home because I know lots of people don’t have one.
I am grateful for every single bit of it. This is the place I call my home.
