Home

Home can't be contained in walls But the love within them is what makes it my home Home can't be a word There are too many ways to describe it Home Home is my haven, where the words "I love you" have true meaning My home Is the sound of my mom's serene voice as she strokes my hair It's my dad's jokes that can always light up my heart. Home is my sister's hugs whenever she comes home from school and the sound of her outgoing voice when she's happy Home is Where I can find support, love , care, and the person I am today The only place I can be vulnerable Where I am loved Where I am at peace A place I can pray A place I can dream I wouldn't change a thing My home is why I'm here and who I am today.
