Home

The meaning of home can be many different things, a place where it rather feels special, and it not just feelings, it could be sights. For example, you get home from work or somewhere you go daily, you walk up to the house and you see the place that you have known for most, if not all your life. For me, my home is my street. I get home every day from school and it's this one turn that always reminds me of where I live. I come driving down the road and I see the tall, old tree that I used to climb with my friend. It is just past the crab apple tree that my friends and I used to pick and throw at a rock we made a target on. The road is a nice cul-de-sac, where tons of my best friends live, and there are not very many cars that come down this road because it's kind of out of the way. But that's just what home is to me. Everyone has a home, and a house is not essential, it's just everything you need, or want. It's not the same as a home. A home is a place that you love and care about. Happy. Love. Special. Three main keywords for how I would describe home. I can imagine that Habitat is helping thousands of people, and that little bit of thought and kindness can go a long way. Home is a place that you will remember and will never forget. A place where you will always come back to. Home could be a house, a city or maybe just a general area. But for some, it doesn't really matter, home is home.
