My home

Home to me is one of the most important things in my life because all of the best memories of my life happened here. When I'm home I feel safe and comfortable with my family all around me. When we are having a movie night I get to cuddle with the people I love most. I think everybody deserves a home so they can feel safe, loved, respected and comfortable just like me every single day of my life. I feel grateful to have a roof over my head and a place to call home. I feel grateful to have a 3 story house, electricity and to have a full stomach at the end of the day everyday. I feel grateful that I can wake up to see that there’s still a roof over my head. I feel grateful that every morning I can walk down stairs to see some maple syrup and delicious waffles. Then after lunch my family brings me out to get some chocolate ice cream. I feel the cold and icy ice cream melting on my lips as me and my family laugh together. I feel grateful to have a family to laugh with and somebody who can help me when I need it. I feel grateful to have warm water and to have a warm bath in a relaxing place where I can get all my negative thoughts out of my head.I feel grateful to have a bed to be comfortable and to dream about my house and how I have everything I need. When I go on walks with my family and as we stroll down Clayton park we watch the beautiful birds and the sun go down and me and my family smile as we finish our ice cream and go home. I am grateful to have heat so when the winter time rolls around I'm safe and I'm warm. At supper time, I smell the juicy and delicious steak as the waiter sets it on the table and the big glass of lemonade in front of me. I feel the curly gold rug as I play basketball in my room with my best friends. I hear the licking of my family popsicles as we swim in our hot tub laughing after my parents drop their popsicles. I see the smiles of my parents as we take my dog for a walk looking at all the beautiful Christmas lights. I am grateful that I have money so on christmas day we wake up to see a new alexa as I listen to my family’s favorite song. I am grateful to have a house and a family. I am grateful for the neighborhood that I grew up in, the beautiful site from our balcony, the school where I found friends and the place where I listen to my teachers and my principal, the place where I worked hard and learned new things and activities, the place I knew I could have help whenever I need it.
