What is a home?

What Is A Home? By : Skyla Maily Welke What is a home? A home is a place, somewhere comforting and safe, it could be anywhere in the world! A home could be made out of sticks and twigs, it could be made out of any resource. Even mud! What reminds you of a home? What sound, touch, or maybe even taste makes you feel comforted and reminded of home? For me, clean laundry and folk rock music, reminds me of my home. It could be anything. All homes have a tradition to go with the home. ( It's basically the core of the home. ) A tradition is not the most important part of the home though, the most important part of a home is love. Some people have a house not a home, a home is comforting, happy, and again it could be anything or anywhere. A house is a structure. Nothing very special. It could have a tradition, but the house wouldn't feel comforting like a home. Some people have no home because of hurricanes, not being able to pay rent, making bad choices, so many sad reasons. Everyone deserves a home! Everybody deserves a home and food. Even if they made bad decisions, we all deserve another chance. Can a house turn into a home? Of course a house could turn into a home! A house could turn into a home easily. You need to make the house more you, more homey. Homey means more you and more comfortable. That's what I think a home is and just remember that everybody deserves another chance.
