A home is just not a house
Home, it’s a place, maybe a building like a house or a school, but it’s so much more than that. A home is where you feel safe, where you can be you, where no matter how sad or mad you are your home will always comfort you. Every person deserves a home, even animals deserve a home. A bird's home could be in their nest they crafted where they lay their eggs, maybe a bear's home is in a cave where they feel safe enough to hibernate. A beaver family may live in a beaver dam they built, the point is a home doesn’t have to be a house, it doesn’t have to be your family's home, it’s where you feel most welcome. My home is my house, specifically my room. Why you might ask? Because it’s almost like when I lay down on my bed, the mattress absorbs all my frustrations and worries. I can relax and forget all my troubles, but the best part of my room is that my pet snake Steve's home is where mine is. Thank you to Habitat humanity for building homes for those who don't have one, because like I said, everyone deserves a home.
