What Does Home Mean To Me?
Home is way beyond just shelter and peace. It is also the home of God and grace, faith, and love. My home is God’s warm smile cast down on me, and it is God’s angels standing guard for me and everyone else. My home is joyful, compassionate, and kind. Everyone might have a house, but with God it makes a home.
A Roof Above Our Heads
Everyone needs a roof above their head, or else the rain and hail will one day fill their lungs. God is my home, and everyone else's. God is my home, and the rain and hail are like demons trying to take hold of me, but God casts them down into the dirt. My home is like a black hole for love, sucking in as much as it can. I hope it is the same for everyone else, full of love and peace. In my bedroom, my bed is like a cloud, soft, and also warm.
Not everyone has this stuff, but at least we can make a difference. We can donate to charities, make families connect, and most importantly have a roof above our heads.
