Home is home

To me, house and home aren't the same thing. House is just a structure but home is where you can share smiles, joy, love and happiness. Like me and my family cuddling up on the couch to watch a Disney movie with crunchy chips and fizzy cola. Home is where you're surrounded by joyful and helpful people in the neighborhood like when me and my sister sold home baked cookies or when me, my sister and brother made lemonade for people on a hot summer day. Home means having my friends over and eating breakfast together at the crack of dawn with yummy pancakes and scrambled eggs. I go to school and my teachers give me useful advice. My teacher is the best. She is so cool, fun and she is who had a brilliant idea to sign me up for this. Events at our school happen once in a while, where we learn new languages, about cultures, traditions and so much more! Nova Scotia is the place I love and will always love. It makes me happy and fierce like a superhero! It is such a beautiful place where me and my family go to spend the day at the Lighthouse. Where we can smell people coming out of stalls with fresh maple syrup and people coming out with tasty poutine. While the night ends with us on the rocks staring at the sunset. Everyone should have fun, everyone should be able to have a house and food and water. Thankfully with Habitat for humanity everyone can have all those things. I'm thankful for Habitat for humanity.
