What home means to me

Hi, my name is Nelle Keppie. Did you know that some people don’t have a home? I think it’s devastating. My home means a lot to me. My home is where my family makes and shares memories. My family is like a shield of protection and love. My home is a place where I can go if I need help. I love smelling my mom making dinner and my dad’s biscuits. I love that my mom comes into my room to read to me and say good night. And my dad tickles me a lot. Home isn’t just where there are walls, a roof, a door and windows. It is where your family is. There is a big difference between a house and a home. My home is where me and my dad play games on the tv and sometimes with my brother. That’s what home means to me.
