What my home means to me…

My name is Audrey Conrad. I have a house, but really to me it’s a home. In the morning I smell the deliciousness of waffles. Every day I feel the love of my parents and my dogs, I know it’s always with me. I hear my brother upstairs every day, so when I get back from school I know I’m home! I love the feel of my couch, my bed and especially my dog's fur. Every night when I see my dad cooking, I know I'll taste something good! I love the warmth of my pyjamas. I put them on every time I get home from school. I love the smell of all my mom’s candles and incense. To me, the place where I live isn't just four walls and a roof but it’s a home because of the things that are in it and the people I share it with. Sometimes I need to stop and think about how lucky I am to have a warm place to stay. I know that some kids my age don't have a home or a familly. I will always be grateful for all that I have. I am soooo lucky to have a place to call home!
