Our Place in the World

A house is a structure, A home is a memory, Both past and present. To touch my house, I touch the walls. To touch my home, I touch my heart. Is that your house? Yes, it is A house. Is that your home? Yes, it is MY home. A house is a structure, Set down and cannot be moved. Home is anywhere you feel loved. When a house is built, You hear hammers and drills and yells. When a home is built, You hear laughter, happiness, and joy. That is not a home, that’s a structure. Four walls and a roof. That is not a house, that’s joy. It’s whatever you want it to be. Shelter is something you fight for. Paying rent just for a roof over your head. Home is something you’re born with. Paying with laughs wherever you’re happy. No matter how sad, upset, or scared you are, There is always a place in this world where you feel calm. And that place is called home. So don’t give in to fear. Do not give in to stress. Do not give in to anger. Because when you find where you belong, Then all that negativity will wash away.
