Home is a Feeling

A house is just 4 walls and a roof. It can’t move and you just put all your things in it. But a home is your happy place. It’s where you get to lay down and lounge. I love my house and I wouldn’t trade anything for it. Memories float around in every room. The conversations at the dinner table stick around till next supper. Home is a place where you can be yourself and feel loved and accepted. It's where you can laugh and smile all the time. Where you can snuggle for a movie and eat the buttery popcorn. Home is filled with love and memories. Home is where your family can come from all over and you can all feel the warm home feeling. But one thing that breaks my heart is that some people don’t have safe homes or no homes at all. So I’m writing this to thank Habitat for Humanity for helping people keep their home feeling.
