A house is not always a home
When I’m home I know that I’m safe, but when some people arrive at their house even though they live there they are not at home.
When I walk into my home I love to smell lavender candles or really all scented things.
When I walk into my room I see a shade of green and a nice salmon pink then my heart is full.
I smell a light smell that smells soft and fluffy. Then my mom and dad call me down for supper.
It smells like butter and peas. It's cream peas on toast. It tastes so warm and soft trickling down my throat. I finish my supper and put my dishes away.
I walk over to my puppy. I feel her soft fur and I feel so cozy.
I go upstairs to my room. I lie down and what wakes me up is my cat's meowing.
I touch my pillow and feel the soft fluffy blanket. Then I fall back asleep. I wake up in the morning and get ready for school and eat my breakfast.
I pack my lunch and put it in my bag. My mom or dad drive me to the bus stop.
My bus takes a while to get to my stop and my neighbors are already there so I get a back seat and we wait. I get to school and I know I’m safe there too.
After a long and fun day at school I arrive home.
And play some games and then it starts all over again.
Just remember others might not be as fortunate as you are.
