A Home that I will Always Love

Feeling safe, able to sleep well, shelter from the rain, and light for me to see. Home to me feels like a quiet space to relax and a place to sleep in. A home is a place for me to have fun with my parents and watch tv as a family all together. I taste the food that I get from my pantry, filled with lots of items to keep me from being hungry all day. The sounds I hear are the pots and pans, also the big tv that is in my living room, and the sound of my bathroom sink or shower. I touch the remote for the tv that I watch in my bedroom when I’m bored during the day or night along with my soft blanket and pillow. I have the comfort of my phone that I use to communicate with my friends and clothing for the morning when I get dressed for school. The smell in my house is delicious and the taste of the freshly baked homemade cookies from my mom makes me feel happy! I always see the outside when it’s morning, day, noon, and night. When the sun goes down and the sky turns pink, I see the beautiful view out my window. I feel lucky to have a fridge and freezer full of food and to eat nice dinners with my family. I hope that these words will make you feel like you are already at home with family and friends. Everyone should have a place to call home.
