There Is No Place Like Home

Home is a place you feel safe. It can look like anything from a house to an apartment to even a tree house. It is also a place you feel love and you can go to after a long day or to see your family/pets. When you are at home you can be yourself. Your home isn’t always just your home it can also be your siblings home or your pets home. When covid was happening we stayed at home because we felt safe there, that is proof that there is no place like home. Even if you are moving it doesn't mean you will miss home forever, because in a few weeks you’ll wish you moved there earlier! The whole reason they called it homesick is because people love home so much that they miss it! If home was a sound to me it would be the sound of my hamster running on her yellow wheel below me as I sleep. If home was a sight, it would be the sight of the brown door when I come from school. If home was a taste it would be the taste of warm soup that I like to have when I’m sick. If home was a feeling it would be the feeling of my fluffy pillow against my head. If home was a smell it would be the smell of wet dog hair because my dogs smell like that when they go on a walk. Home is not my favorite place but it is still very important to me. The End
