What home means to me

My home is a place where I feel safe, loved, and happy, it's heartwarming when I snuggle with my family and cats. My house is safe and secure in happy ways. My home is where I keep my collections, my books, my sketch books , pencils and my stuffed animals. My home is not only a shelter with floors, a roof, and doors, it is cozy, warm, and safe with kitties galore! But also if I did not have a home, I would not be warm, or cozy I would be cold, and wet. And that is why I am writing this essay for habitat for humanity. Many people do not have homes, or houses, we are very lucky to have ours. Imagine if you did not have a house, you would not have a place to sleep, be cozy, or stay away from rain. I would like you to close your eyes for a minute and imagine what that would feel like being cold and wet. So, let us reach out a hand to the homeless and help them. Be a friend that they will remember. And help others if they look like they need a helping hand.
