A house is not a home

A house is not a home. A house has four walls and a roof. A home is so much more. A home is being surrounded by the people that you love. A home is the chatter of people as the sunlight streams through the windows. A home is the rain on the roof, a soft symphony as people laugh. A home is a warm meal served together. A home is a dog jumping up to lick your face. A home is a place memories come to life. A home is knowing how lucky you are to have all this. A house can’t do any of these things. A house is four walls and a roof until you make it a home.
