Big or small, a home is for all
A home is a place where I can thrive
A home is a place for which many strive.
I’m grateful for the home my parents own
Because some live without a home all alone!
If we try to help the poor and show some grace,
Then people with no home will have one to embrace.
One thing that can help us to do this here
Is to always remember to persevere.
Over the years, many memories were made
From when I went from Kindergarten to 1st grade.
My home is a blessing and it’s also a lesson
It teaches me to be grateful for all my possessions!
A home is a place where I can have fun
A place to play, a place to run!
Throughout the years I’ve seen myself growing from short to tall,
One thing I’ve learned is that big or small, a home is for all!
Everyone in the world deserves a home
A place to live, a place to roam
If we give a helping hand to one another, to all genders, to every race
This can have a great effect, which will make the world a better place!
A home is something that gives you a sense of joy
A place where you can always play with a toy!
A home is a not a luxury, but a necessity
A home in Toronto makes a terrific city!
At times, home can be tough
If we stay graceful, have hope and work hard, it won't be too rough!
At home sometimes we laugh, sometimes we cry
But I know anything can happen if we try!
Finally, I’m grateful for Habitat for Humanity for letting me do this call
But one thing I have learned is that: Big or small, a home is for all!
