A home is not just the walls that surround us or the roof that is above our heads. It is the people and the memories that fill the rooms with joy and laughter. Whether you are content or anxious about things happening in your life, your home will be a shoulder to lean on. At times, it can be as loud as a zoo, with tigers roaring and gorillas pounding their chests. Or as quiet as the faint swishing of leafs on a big oak tree. In your home the warm, cozy, safe feeling never really goes away. The different personalities that live in your house with you are the ones who truly make it a home though. People who will be laughing at your jokes, the ones who will show sympathy when things go wrong, the ones you argue with. The ones you can depend on no matter what. Whether they are family, friends or roommates who live with you, they will always add more colour to your life. Home is a place where you can express yourself without being judged. It is the place where you have many memories and conversations. Home is where great stories are told, huge challenges are faced, and where I feel the most content and carefree.
