Meaning of Home

The Meaning of Home Home is different for everyone. It might be a place to escape to, or to feel inclusion in the people around you, but it should never be a place to hide from. These next few paragraphs will include reasons why home is so important and why it matters who’s inside that door. The first thing I want to talk about is how home should be, why you get that warm tingly feeling when you walk in the door well I have two reasons. Number one is that it’s kind, everyone is being nice to you, like when you walk in the door and a parent is waiting to ask you how your day was, number two is that it’s happy, everyone is trying their best to make you happy and when you’re happy it’s more likely that they’re happy, because good feelings that someone spreads, eventually it comes back to the person who spread them in the first place. Next I want to cover why home is so important. Honestly I can’t tell you what it’s like to not have a home. I consider myself extremely lucky that I have a house to come home to, plenty of food to go around, and a warm bed to sleep in at night, no I can’t tell you about what it’s like to not have those things, but I can tell you about some key elements that make home more than a house. This includes Family, from what I’ve learned they will be with you through thick and thin, they will always be there for you, and they will always be waiting with a warm hug, it’s also a place to stay when you get home from a bad day you can count on your house to be the place where you flop on your bed, and curl up on the couch to watch a family movie. The last thing that I thought I should add is what my home feels like. My house is warm, and bright, and always there waiting, I can thrive happily in my house with the food my mom cooks up every night, and the video games my dad, my brother, and I all play almost every night, and my dog Lyric who always climbs up on the couch while we’re trying to play video games or watch a movie, even though he’s a lab and definitely not a lap dog. Like I said before home is more than a house. It’s a place to thrive, and have fun with your family, not a place to hide from, and I feel terrible for the people who see home as just another breaking branch, that could snap at any given moment. In conclusion home is just as important as anything else because it holds everything of true value.
