Home is a powerful place Strong and secure Calm and safe Home is special Reliable but flexible Filled with love And a warm embrace Home creates a special bond A connection A blessing That will stay strong My home has moved many times But the memories I make stay alive My home is not just a house It’s a place I can forget my doubts My home gives me courage It gives me protection Brings me joy and good connections I think home is essential A building filled with so much potential I am writing this poem To help all in need of a home
