A safe place called Home

Home is where there’s joy, happiness and love. Where you wake up to your family. Home is a place where you grow. Take your first steps and say your first words. When you come home to your dog running towards you after a long day of school. It’s your parents giving you hugs. Then your brother walks in and you watch his face light up. Home is a place where you have birthdays and Holidays like Christmas and Easter too. Home is a place where you have memories of party’s, sleepover’s, picnic’s and family game nights too. Where you eat and sleep. Home is a warm safe comfort place. If I did not have a home I would not be here today. Some people think a home is just four walls and one roof but it is so much more. It’s my mom’s love, my dad’s hugs, my brother's smile, my dog’s happiness and my joyfulness. Some people may not have a house but they do have a home. When I go to University I will leave my home but my home will never leave me. A House is nice but a home is special. I love my home and I want everyone to have a home. There is a little bit of home in everyone. Home is a place that I love. Home is where the heart is.
