Home to Me

The definition of a house is four walls under a roof. For me, home is not a place with just four walls under a roof where you not only feel comfortable but it's where you would want to live every day. Furthermore, home is where you interact and bond with your family, relatives and friends. In addition, home is where I took my first step, got into big trouble, studied, learned to speak, watched and played board and video games on my TV. Likewise, home is where I learned to play basketball, soccer, football, ball hockey, badminton and tennis. Consequently, home is where I felt every emotion, sad, frustrated, confused, happy, mad, and sometimes I feel like I just do not know. Home is a place where someone lives permanently, like a member of a family. So basically, home is a place where you feel you belong. Again, home is a place where a person’s most personnel belongings are kept, it’s where a person feels safe to keep it there. Home expresses a person and interests that the family tree has. To have a home you need to have an emotional connection and sense of belonging, not physical things. In conclusion, home to me is a place where you bond, where you would want to live every day, where you learn and feel different emotions. What does home mean to you?
