The Meaning of Home

A home doesn't have to be a big house or an apartment, it could be four walls and a roof and some furniture. Home is a place to build memories and traditions and spend time with your friends and family. Home sounds like my parents talking. My home smells like my mom cooking in the kitchen. My home feels like a place where I can be happy and feel safe. Some people don't have a home. And that's ok too. In the wintertime people go seek shelter so they can be warm and dry for the winter. But at the end of the day it's ok if you don't have a home. What matters is that you feel safe.
