Home

A HOME is a place of safety where you can be safe and enjoy life. You can have family time like me and if you don’t get family time because you're too busy or have other reasons, then try to make time to hear what you family’s thoughts are. You can also light candles at the dinner table, that’s what my family does and it really makes it feel special. We also have a rule that we’re not allowed to have a device at the table so we can talk to each other. HOME is also a place where you can just relax and come home to the family after work or school. HOME makes me feel safe because we are warm and have a lot of support. There’s a lot of people that don’t have HOMES, that’s the reason that I wrote this, to raise money for those who need a home. Just think about when we have winter here (in Canada), it’s incredibly cold. I can’t imagine what it would be like if I had to live outside in this winter brrrrrrrrrrrrrr. It doesn’t matter what type of HOME you have, it can be a condo or it can be a HOME HOME, it is really just about the family and where ever that is. It can be out on a camping trip or it can be really anywhere. It can even be at a hotel, even though people say that it’s not a HOME if it’s not at your actual HOME but my entire family believes that a HOME is really just with the family. A HOME is really a place of safety and peace where it’s okay to make mistakes and if you do make a mistake you can have it corrected (if you want) and if you do something good then you can be praised and have a reward. You’re able to be corrected and you don’t need any shame. At school or such if you do something wrong you have to automatically fix it and when you’re at HOME you have the option to either continue or you can stop for a bit and take a break or work on something else. Home is also a place where you can go when your feeling sick or mad or even just had a bad day at work or school and such. When you don’t have a HOME you don’t really have a place you can feel safe. When you’re sick you have to be outside and you have trouble getting medicine sometimes they can’t even get any at all. In the winter they don’t have anywhere to go for warmth. As I wrap this up I’ll start by saying goodbye and closing up I really hope others get to read this and try to help the homeless by building a house for them. So I’ll say my last good bye Good bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
