House or Home

There are so many differences between houses and homes. What are all of them? Here I’ll tell you the differences between them. Your mind will be blown when you learn these huge differences, because they’re extraordinary! When you think of a house what do you think? Well let’s get the basics down. A house has four walls and these walls are blank, empty and emotionless. A house is also a shelter. Basically I’m trying to say that the house is the physical aspect. There is no emotion, just plain boring and tedious. What about homes? Is a home boring, lifeless like a house? The answer is no. Sure, a home has four walls, but these walls are full colourful, unique, and they tell an exciting story. We now have established that a home isn’t boring or tedious. If it isn’t boring or tedious what is a home? A home isn’t the physical aspect because that's the house, so that makes the home the emotional aspect. So that you know the difference between a house and a home. You think about this, would you rather have a house or a home. Personally I would choose home. I like having a place where memories are made. I recently moved and lost a place full of memory but that's ok, because new ones can be made. I’m going to tell you a saying I heard that helped me write the essay. “A house has four walls but a home is a place where memories are made”. This essay would have been really hard for me without knowing that. You will laugh when I tell you that I heard this on The Property Brothers, but that saying is true.
