What Home Means To Me
Home is much bigger than just a place, it's where memories
happen. At a friend’s house or in my room, I’ll always feel safe and
respected too. I lived in a world that just was not home for a long
time. It was lonely, scary, and sad. It hurt. I opened up and now
home is my family, my friends at school, and my classroom. Home
can be many different things. Whether they are family members,
animals or things, They are special. My home is where I play with
my brother, and talk with my parents. A place or thing when you
know that you deserve to learn. Everyone deserves the shelter,
safety and love of a home. They deserve a family just as much as I
do. Habitat for Humanity can make that a reality. House is a small
word but it can mean so many things.
