Finding Home

My home is where I sleep, My home is where I eat and play. But that’s also my house, My home has things my house doesn't. My home has memories, My home has my family. My home has me. A house is made of wood and bricks, But a home is built with feelings, and family. You’ll find houses everywhere, but homes are a lot more rare. But even though homes are different than houses, Home is family, friends, love, memories, feelings. And you can find each of those in a house. So, my hope, my wish, Is that this story will help those less lucky than me. I hope that I can help with the first step toward a home. Everyone deserves a home, And everyone should help. This story will help give houses to people. I know that homes and houses are different, But we still need houses, To find our homes.
