What Home Means to Me
If you ask me what home
means, I say it means family.
It's where you learn to run
and play. It is where you
spend your days.
A house has a roof and
four walls, but a home is
where your heart calls.
It's a place full of memories
with love, laughter, joy and
peace.
My house is where I reside,
to keep all of the weather outside.
Inside is where I see the people I love.
It is my home, and there I’m never alone.
It's a place full of spirituality, where
I can embrace creativity. This is
where I’m safe and free, where
I always can be me.
Habitat for Humanity helps others in
the community. Not just in one
province or just one town, not just up
north or way down south. Habitat helps
many families, all over Canada, this whole
country.
Not only does Habitat give a
house on the outside, they
give people a chance to make
it a home on the inside.
What home means to me, is
something I'll always know.
what's inside of me is my home
even if I have to go. Even if
my address will change, one
thing will stay the same.
Home is where I’m with the
people I love, running, playing,
talking and having fun. But most
importantly, where I’m safe,
free, happy and loved, that
is my home and it stays with
me wherever I go.
