What Home Means to Me

To me, home is the sweet smell of my mom’s homemade cookies baking in the oven. I love reading in my cozy, warm room with my mom and my cat. Sometimes my cat Cookie likes to wear his warm red sweater when it’s cold. I like watching tv or movies with my mom and my cats. My other cat, who is very tiny, also loves cuddles. Me, my mom, and my cats are family and we love our home. It is a building but there is more to it than that. My home is special to me because there are lots of things that make great memories. Sitting in my warm cozy pajamas by the fire reading a nice book. Sometimes I dance in my room and listen to music. In my home I feel safe. There are many good things in my home like the people who love me and make me happy. I feel comfortable and calm. Loved and more. Size doesn't matter, it's what's on the inside that counts. Not everybody has a home but some have a house. I’m very grateful that I have a great home. Thank you
