What is a Home?

Home is where I am with the ones I love, my dog, my brother, my mom, dad and my closest friends. Home is not just a building, it is a feeling of security and love deep within my heart. My house is the walls that I live in, but my home is everything inside those walls. I have and love my family and friends with me at home. Home is where I feel my best. At home, I can sit down, close my eyes and rest. My home is everything to me, at home people respect and care for me just as I do for them. Someday my house may change, but just know it doesn't matter where your house is. All that matters is that inside that building is your home where you can be whoever you want whenever you want. Home has a meaning, which to me home means love and generosity. Home is where we learned to walk, jump, skip, talk, run, but most importantly home is where we learned to love and care for one another. A home is where we watch each other grow and fall. But we always help each other up from those falls. Homes are so beautiful. We can’t do everything by ourselves, people in your home are here for you, they are here to help you find your spotlight and someday you will do the same for them! My house is not just a house, it’s my home. My home is bright and colorful; warm and cozy. No matter what we look like, or how much money we have, we all deserve a home. A home is where we all should feel happy and bright. I am so very lucky to have a home like mine! Kate
