The Feeling of Home

The Feeling of Home Home, the place where I run to When exhausted from a long day of happiness and sadness, excitement and pain. I feel safe when I take a breath from the fresh, cool, breeze, at last, my mind is refreshed and I can block the noises in my head and the chaos outside. My home is where I breathe fresh air and feel the world around me. To others, home is a building or a place to live in, but if you open your mind you’ll find that home is a feeling. I feel lonely away from my home, it's where I watch the flowers grow, the birds fly, the sunset, the pond ripple, and where I take a deep cleansing breath from the fresh, cool breeze. I feel at home when I am around nature, drawing the flowers, singing with the birds, dancing with the trees, playing in the rain, sitting and swaying with the breeze, or possibly swimming with the fish. I feel at home here because nature seems to understand me and my feelings. My home is filled with majestic birds, the most beautiful flowers, and the bluest waters. Through happiness and pain, my home, I can run to, sit down in, and… live.
