A house is not a home.

A house is not a home. A home is a place where you feel safe. A home is a place where you are loved. A house is a building. A house is not a home. Home is the taste of fresh-baked banana bread. Home is the feeling of my puppy biting my hand. Home is the sound of my brother screaming at his game . Home is the sight of my cat cuddling his brother. Home is the smell of my backyard after it rains. She doesn’t have a home. She is ugly crying. She has a tent on the side of the road watching cars go bye on cold nights She shivers in her sleeping bag. Holding up a Dirty cardboard sign hoping that there would be a way out Of the misery that she has to call home. She should not live like that. How does anyone go through this? I would give her a big hug. She struggles to get food, water she deserves a cozy home with Fresh cookies in the oven, Warm clothes right out of the dryer. She deserves a home for all she's been through. I love all of the housing units that people build but she doesn't have access to Proper housing heating food is sad and depressing.
