The Meaning of Home

Home to some people means their house but to me it means where I come from. I live in Prince Edward Island, but I am from British Columbia. I moved here when I was seven years old. I was excited to move when we did. More and more time passed, and I wanted to go back to British Columbia. I miss BC. I miss my friends, especially my best friend, Jack. I miss my room and my house. To some people moving is exciting but to other people it’s hard to let go. It makes me sad whenever someone mentions British Columbia because it reminds me of how much fun I had there. We don’t plan on going back anytime soon. Time flies when you are having fun. The longest moments are when you are sad. The shortest moments are when you are having fun. So you have to enjoy your favorite times because it won’t last forever. Whenever I play online with my friend Jack it gives me a little piece of home. It’s a good memory of my home. I have lived here for three years. I have enjoyed it but I’d rather be in BC. If I could go back I would want to see my old house and my room. I would want to see my friends and my school. I’d take pictures of all my favorite memories. Whenever I talk about it it reminds me of all the good times I’ve had. Cherish your memories because they are special.
