The meaning of home
The meaning of home is a lot of things to me.
Home is the sticky feeling of the controller my brother has made disgusting with his grubby, sweaty hands but the relief of my very own clean controller. Home is the smell of salty Earthquake Cookies that look cracked like my brother’s tablet screen.
Home is the sound of my dog, Mihka’s whine at the top of the stairs. All of these things are what home means to me. Not having these things would make me feel depressed, glum, and down in the pits. Habitat for humanity helps give people homes that don’t have a home.
Did you know that “1 in 8 canadian households do not have a safe, decent , affordable place to call home”. This is unacceptable and we’ve got to do something about it. My wish is that everybody has a home to live in with food on the table to eat and clean water to drink.
