The Meaning of Home

The difference between a house and a home is that a home is like a private place with your family, and a house is just a building. When I first moved in my new house, I felt kind of scared and excited about the new start. The new house felt quiet and a little messy also a new situation. It feels like home now because I’ve stayed there for a long time and feel welcomed by my new community. Home is wherever your family and pets are. When you leave home, you miss the people in your home not the house. I live with my dad, my mom, my two brothers one older and one younger. My mom and dad are the most important because without them me and my siblings are not goanna be here. Home means you can stay and play there. A home should be fun. My favorite thing to do at home is play with my little brother in the backyard. We throw snowballs at each other and make snow forts. I hope a lot of people support Habitat for Humanity because without them some people will not have a home. And I wish some people could have a home.
